Land acknowledgements continue to have a growing presence in a variety of settings. Join Three Rivers Outdoor Education and Recreation staff in a round table discussion about how you can incorporate Land Acknowledgement/Indigenous topics into your teachings in a way that is authentic, action-based, and sustainable. There will be a panel of 3 indigenous educators who will share their own experiences and opinions the topic. In this session we will share resources, examples, and experiences. Stay for an additional hour after for socializing and collaborating on your own draft (3-4pm). Feel free to bring your laptop or other documenting device.
