2023 Annual Conference!

We are delighted to announce the upcoming Naturalist Conference, "Micro to Macro: Connecting with Nature at Every Level," held at the scenic Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center from November 3rd to 5th, 2023. Join us for a fun weekend where naturalists, scientists, and enthusiasts will come together to share their experiences, knowledge, and research. Through a series of engaging workshops, presentations, and discussions, participants will delve into the interconnectedness of all living things, from the tiniest microorganisms to the grandest ecosystems. This conference offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding and appreciation of nature, while fostering your own connections within the field. Whether you're a seasoned naturalist or just beginning your journey, we invite you to join us at Wolf Ridge ELC for this enriching event. Don't miss this chance to connect with nature on a whole new level, registration is open!

Advocacy

One of MNA's goals is to provide more support for seasonal naturalists and to create a seasonal staffing best practices document. In order to best assist, we first wanted to survey both seasonal staff and their hiring supervisors to further understand what support is currently being offered and what is needed/wanted. If you have questions on this survey, feel free to email Becky at mnaconference(@)gmail.com. The deadline to fill out this survey is Monday, April 12.
Thanks in advance for your responses!
